MY WRITING

IMG_20130505_192510WRITING SERVICES

I created this blog because I love to write but I also love to feed my kids, so if you would like to pay me to do some writing for you please get in touch!

I specialise in comedy writing along with mental health and parenting issues but I am happy to write about anything and everything.

I am always looking for new opportunities so if you have a project you would like assistance with then I would be more than happy to help.  I am available for blogging, joke writing, ghostwriting, scriptwriting, copywriting, features and humour articles.

I am author of Sleep Is For The Weak but I also work as a freelance writer for:

satire site Daily Mash, The Mash Report, Metro UK , New Statesman, Telegraph Online and I am a contributor for the Huffington Post.

I have been featured in the national news including the Mail Online’s Femail moaning about annoying new mums and having two under two, Mirror Online looking at sleep-deprived parenting, cold coffee, postnatal depression, breastfeeding and giving ‘advice’ to Kate and Wills.

I was a finalist in the Funny Women Awards 2016 and have had  comedy sketches performed by BBC4’s The Show What I Wrote, Director’s Cut Theatre Company and the Crooked Pieces podcast Then She Said A Funny Thing.

I am a regular on Radio Leicester’s Table Talk and have also been on BBC Radio Five Live, BBC 2’s Victoria Derbyshire show, The Jeremy Vine Show, BBC Women’s Hour, BBC Radio Leicester and had my work published on Scary Mommy, Blunt Moms, Kidspot, Mamapedia and Practical Parenting.
