I created this blog because I love to write but I also love to feed my kids, so if you would like to pay me to do some writing for you please get in touch! I specialise in humour writing and parenting issues but I am happy to turn my hand to any subject!
I am always looking for new opportunities so if you have a project you would like assistance with then I would be more than happy to help. I am available for blogging, ghostwriting, scriptwriting, copywriting, features, ad and logo design and web management.
I am author of Sleep Is For The Weak but I also work as a freelance writer for Metro UK and have also had articles published in Good Housekeeping, New Statesman, Telegraph and I am a contributor for the Huffington Post.
I have been featured in the national news including the Mail Online’s Femail moaning about annoying new mums and having two under two, Mirror Online looking at sleep-deprived parenting, cold coffee, postnatal depression, breastfeeding and giving ‘advice’ to Kate and Wills.
I was a finalist in the Funny Women Awards 2016 and have had comedy sketches performed by BBC4’s The Show What I Wrote, Director’s Cut Theatre Company and the Crooked Pieces podcast Then She Said A Funny Thing.
I have also been on BBC Radio Five Live, BBC 2’s Victoria Derbyshire show, The Jeremy Vine Show, BBC Women’s Hour, BBC Radio Leicester and had my work published on Scary Mommy, Blunt Moms, Kidspot, Mamapedia and Practical Parenting.
